Coining or cao gio, is an alternative form of medicine most commonly practiced in Southeast Asia.  The practice involves rubbing heated oil on the skin, most commonly the chest, back, or shoulders, and then vigorously rubbing a coin over the area in a linear fashion until a red mark is appears. Wow, its been a while since I posted. First off, happy new year everyone! Hope you accomplish your new year resolutions! :) as for myself, I don’t really have one…

Winter break was awesome, but now it’s back to school for a lot of people. There will be lots of hectic days and sleepless nights for everyone. Good luck!

So I worked my normal weekend shift last night and came home around 11. I got ready for bed and lied down by 1:30. I then realized I couldn’t breathe very well..like my respiratory pathway was a bit constricted although it was accompanied by a stuffy nose but the constriction was in my chest. I looked around for an inhaler because I used to have asthma and would have two different ones just in case but I couldn’t find any. I ended up sleeping sitting up for a few hours which helped with my breathing and woke up much better later on. I haven’t had any breathing problems in the longest time though…probably over 8 years…I don’t know what caused last night’s incident.

…I’ve also had sleep paralysis (thank goodness without horrifying hallucinations) in the past two months for about 3 times or so and it is really scary cuz I’m unable to move or call out. When I try to call out it gets harder and harder everytime and I become voiceless until I gather all my energy to make a small sound. That small sound seems to free me everytime and I am able to move again. I hope not to experience this again but that seems unlikely.

I fell in love with the “Brave” OST when I first saw the movie. I saw it a second time and just couldn’t help but get the songs ^-^ (Brave - Merida’s Home)
